The conceptual option for the UIA Info-Point derives from the will to form an architecture open to the city (permeable) during the day as well as during the night. Indeed, there is a requirement for setting up a core area open to the various users, creating a flow of people who can stay, take a rest, meet friends and, above all, obtain information. The three “cells” that surround this core host, by themselves, the basic functions requested by the programme (info-point, press area, exhibition area, radio UIA, toilet facilities, store room). The skin recovering the three cells is the very element that gives information to the public: this consists in 180 sq of interactive fabric The modularity and the lightness of the materials used allow an easy setting-up/dismantling of the building, piece by piece.
