The educational department of the Chamber of commerce of Klagenfurt needed a new multifunctional building to host both its offices and spaces for the promotion of its professional courses. The articulated functional program with specific requests, has been managed collecting the offices in a two storey block on the eastern side of the lot, the workshops on the opposite side, and the public hall in a third element disposed as a bridge between the two. The C shape this way created allows the creation of an inner garden plaza, visible and reachable from the street, that guarantees this way a direct connection between pubblic space and semi-pubblic space. This elevated position assure to the representation rooms a certain scenic presence and, at the same time, an easy access and a good visibility to the inner garden.
