KOLO 2006 Public Convenience, 8th edition
Hel
A free-standing public convenience in Hel Idea. Beach, sea, turquoise blue water - main components of the scenery. Traditional architecture stands though in opposition to this marine landscape. Organic forms became an inspiration for the project - shape of a stone, an amber polished by a millenial influence of wind and water. The building fits gently in the milieu, respecting the nature, yet ignoring any contexts of the architecture nearby. Technology. The buildings, like yachts alike, is made of epoxy resin that makes it clean, firm, light and resistant to vandalism.
