An architectural concept for multimedia complex in Nowy Sącz stems from desire to transform the town into one of the most innovative multimedia and IT centers, which would combine objectives of business incubator, research facility and an innovation centre. Seemingly difficult location actually helped to expose the building of a constrained height. Form of the building corresponds with natural shape of hill's "fingerprint". This way we created a building composed of three three-storey belts of complementary to each other's functions. Curvilinear shape of those belts follows contour lines of the hill. This approach introduces not only a familiar, soft form instead of an alien cube, but also by adapting to terrain produces more economically feasible structure.
