This Shopping Center is situated in one of oldest Polish cities. The city was an important centre on a trade route of amber with Roman empire. We have decided to connect this elements – amber-trade-jewelery. We employed a technique of “faceting”. Like in jeweler’s craft we change the solid corners of the building. We have used this technology in architectural scale. By faceting we make the entrances more characteristic in the whole building structure. Looking for the concept of colours we have again taken the amber colour. Amber is also the name of a particular color component RGB 255, 191, 0. This warm and pleasant colour we composed with dark graphite metal panels lining the walls.
