Tree House for a child
Pomezia - invited
The tree in project has a unique and fortunate shape: it is formed by two main branches, each forked into two, and each precisely on the same axis, but at a different level. The project intends to use these two natural "forks" as the base or seat for two wooden beams in laminar wood, which jut out for three metres and form a triangular structure in the tree and provide stability. It is on these beams that the secondary structure would mingle into the tree and its shape would be like a funnel imbedded onto the branches. The result would be a bizarre object that seems to defy the law of statics as its bulkiest part is exactly at the end of the overhanging structure.
