The association Art.ur in collaboration with the Cuneo Township presents the fourth Urban Art Exhibition contest, manifestaZOOne. The intention of this project utilizing public art is to promote communication of socially sensitive issues in the form of large billboards, commenting in a direct and often ironic way on the theme of the exhibition. Artists and graphics are invitated to produce a graphical work on the topic “last minute Hero”, that refers to the mediatized contemporary idols, soon manipulated and absorbed by the unceasing shifts of style. Entering the contest is free and the deadiline is May 12 2010. The winning works will be published on the exhibition catalogue and displayed in the Fresia Gardens of Cuneo in July during the ZOOart event and on various advertising billboards within the city of Cuneo in November, during the Litterature Exhibition Scrittorincittà.
