Fades is an installation for a specifically designed environment. A fine haze of mist is introduced into a space in which the white light of the projection manifests itself. The light gradients based on linear and logarithmic wave modulations move in synchrony to the sound creating a variety of shapes and structures. The main focus does not lie on the image projected, but on the three-dimensional light sculpture in the space. Similar to the essence of music fades establishes a visual language that is able to communicate what is outside of our usual systems of understanding.
