Hellenikon Park
Athens
Athenian Osmosis The plan begins with a definition of the park edge. The peripheral development of the former airport is not suitable to function as a park boarder. A new boarder is needed in order to create a representative face for the park. This new development will serve as a catalyst in the further development beyond the site. As opposed to a fence, the frame is the connection between city, park and sea. The area west facing the coast is not part of the site. An extension of the park west of the proposed tunnel is fundamental as well logical. Likewise the connection of the park to the marina links the park to the sea.
