Arts Centre
Cadiz - mentioned
The complex that combines the three centres has to be functional with independent administrations. At the same time, some spaces have to be shared yet still having the option of using them out of teaching hours, allowing access to the public. The proposal for the Cádiz Art Centre rises like a response, in a context in which the public space is almost always the result of a systematic occupation of place, or even of a moulding operation. This way, the project articulates the surroundings forming a public square. On that basis, three elements, distinct in their development, are formed, but joined in confrontation, in a way that the Art Centre appears to be a whole and not three individual volumes.
