St. Gilgen - invited
An undulating landscape is the new connection between the new and old living quaters of a Villa in St. Gilgen close to lake Wolfgang. The calm lawn area accentuates the huge alps and lake view panorama. The shaped lawn area is bordered by a small stream as well as roses and perennials. Corten steel arches with the shape of sickels cut through the green lawn. The sickels change their colour depending on the weather. The more humid weather makes them look almost black whilst in the sun they have a bright orange red glow. In winter are covered by the white coat of hoarfrost. The entrance area flowers profusely with Dahlien, Hemerocallis. The pond is planted with blue and red violet hues with Hemerocallis and Iris. A light colored grass band grows between the high yew hedge along the road and a low buxus hedge.
