Warsaw - first prize
The site is located in the city center of Warsaw on the street Twarda and next to the plaza Grzybowski. Old and low buildings next to high-rise buildings dominate the site. Streets are lined by common trees. The Residential Tower Warsaw landscape design concept is based by two major elements. The first being the floral pattern from the age of classic and the circular cut hedges based on the shape of the pattern. The second influence is the formal stripes in the paving due to the facade grid of 2 meters. The ground floor area can be seen as stop over zone, which can be divided into a central paved and a soft-scaped/ planting area. The paving consists of alternating white and black stripes, which are as mentioned previously based to the grid of the façade of 2 meters.
