The villa attempts to harmonise with its surroundings through the contemporary exploitation of this existing palette of materials, making reference to its older neighbours while avoiding an historicist approach. Traditional craftsmanship and building techniques are employed in combination with contemporary detailing to create a composition which, crucially, will age and through time attain a patina similar to its neighbours.
