TRATTI 2006>07>

TRATTIs by Beloff & Pichlmair (2006-07>) are wearable noise instruments for kids and/or mobile interactive art. They produce sound, and all of them are connected to networks. TRATTIs are points in space and time were the experience of “now” is manipulated by the local environment and by a network condition far outside the local scope. TRATTIs set up a connection with the stars and the universe, while they simply provide immediate fun on earth's ground. One’s own voice can be recorded; a TRATTI will transform it by using the surrounding world as a score. TRATTIs are playful instruments, combining the local with occasional signs received from outer space (based on actual data from space via network). And they make funny noises.
