macro.spheres
Leipzig
macro.spheres is a wooden sculpture consisting of three interlocking hemispheres of an equal diameter that are placed against each other in an asymmetrical arrangement. The hemispheres' outer construction, in which braces point towards the centre of each circle, supports the internal planking whose construction is segmented in 10-degree steps – emulating the system of latitude and altitude of a school globe. macro.spheres can be read as sculpture, as a model of the "new" world and as a 'heavenly' living and learning space for the globular robot micro.sphere.
