The Park originates from the synergic inputs of art/sculpture and architecture/landscaping. The request to keep the industrial waste on site gives way to the creation of a Park seem as a sculpture, with its innovative morphological landscape design. On the other hand more than one technical solutions have been necessary to resolve the problems given by such a complex design in a problematic industrial area and the demand of integration in this part of the city. An innovative system which pumps out water from the artificial lake, up to the top of the hill, giving way to its cooling along the way, allows it to return to the basin preventing the growth of algae which would compromise its use for irrigation. Further more the sitting banks alongside the earth movements have been designed in order to permit the drainage of surplus water and to carry it away to the reservoir.
