2006 _ bio electric plants
london
This project aimed to “see through science…”, an opportunity to familiarise with some emergent technologies like nanotechnology, working with plausible futures looking at its potential social, cultural an ethical impact on society. Several reports pointed the use of nanobiocells as an important area of future investments. They are highly efficient in converting sunlight into electricity. The main impact of this technology may be first implemented on building field. However, how can be possible to translate the captured energy by the plants, into our everyday life? Using the plant as an energy generator the project concerns were to contextualize and produce possible future scenarios. How can we interact with nanobio electric plants? What means gardening and which kind of tools do we have to use?
