A permanent garden in the Loire region. At the occasion of the exhibition dedicated to Eleanor of Aquitaine, Royal Abbey of Fontevraud. This garden consists in a discrete vegetal intervention that becomes perfectly readable at the landscape scale : lines of grass redefine the site’s experience. A fabric of moving green borders form an imaginary geography, redesign the slope that faces the Abbey. Selected as one of the best design of the year in the Barcelona IVth Landscape biennale 2006, this project shows how we can combine our design approach with a heritage site, in a respectful yet innovative way.
