Lille - first prize
We were selected by the French waterways administration and the Lille urban community for the strategic scoping and feasability study of a 112 acres commercial harbour in Lille-Lomme.
The remit was to generate a major public space that would be a counterbalance to Eura Lille.
We proposed the creation of a public park, a tourist harbour, offices and retail outlets
and improvement of the sites’ environmental and social services for those living on the barges.
The study has now been completed and became the road book for the urban redevelopment of
the area.
