The project is a winning entry for the competition for two housing blocks, which was held by the Housing Found of Slovenia, government run program that is providing low-cost apartments for young families. Proposal won the competition for economic, rational and functional issues. Especially for the good ratio between brutto vs selling surface and flexibility of the plans. By signing the contract we were obliged to prepare construction documentation for the building that would cost under 600EUR/sqm of netto surface. There are 30 apartments in each building – apartments of different sizes and structures varying from studio flat to 3 bedroom apartment. Apartments are small – with minimal sized rooms in relation to the Slovenian standards. There are no structural elements inside the apartments which provide the flexibility and possibilities of re-organizing.
