three kinds of territorial occupation have been established: urban zone, ecotourism expansion and biological protection bands. the connection between the different areas is made by the loops of martinique and le vauclin. this flow will generate a sequence of local and global uses. the main goal is to occupy empty spaces, creating new standards of social behaviour and to cause a regeneration of the urban tissue. we need flexible design rules to better accommodate the urban growth and be more understanding to the spontaneous development. a new process of housing occupation is used. we propose the starting point of the process and where it should end, by establishing a limit, but not controlling the exact way or speed. it’s an open system.
