misc.Z - europan 7
Krems, Austria - second prize
misc.Z proposes a loose mixture of living and working making tactical use of the proximity to the landscape and the good infrastructural ties. alluring living destinations develop along willow avenues, which connect the existing fallow lands and green areas, and lead the dwellers into the river meadows of the danube. misc.Z offers the diverse range of post-urban dwellers an elastic typology that is actualized in great variety between the view onto the vineyards and the activities outdoors. the connection between view and action – in form of an elevator, stair or hallway – is the spine of every living unit. its adapting code guarantees site-specific solutions within the heterogeneous context and establishes an identity-creating coherence.
