The New Era Wharf is a fearless building, a “social condenser” that is built on the water of the small city of Rødberg and that won the fifteenth edition of Europan. It’s a building that strives to be essential, with a gaunt geometry and a dry character but with a really complicated generative strategy. It’s a vision to bring back to life a dying village, a vision that pays homage to the stunning Scandinavian landscape and becomes a symbol for this incredible part of Norway.
