Pennabilli (RN) - first prize
Through the wild and wooded region of Montefeltro, it is common to see many sighting outposts and towers, strong structures inhabiting the hilly landscape. Three inclined poles, that look like a tripod, a mirror, one wooden disk with an hole and a wooden ring compose the very simple structure of the ‘camera obscura’. The waterproof upholstery of aluminium helps keeping thermal and lighting insulation inside the ‘camera’ and its reflections make it a shining and magical object during the day. In the moonlight the silver skin becomes bright and sparkling, perfect scenario for jugglers and performers.
