The project is a Political Display designed to promote a public discussion during MEXTRÓPOLI 2019 Festival on the Mexican Identity and its strenuous integration between Pre-Columbian, Colonial and Spanish American cultures. These complex issues are reinterpret through the history of Alameda Central, which, since its foundation in 1592, has been the symbol of this process. NOBODY BUILDS WALLS BETTER THAN ME is a wall, six meters high and twenty-four meters long, inspired by the Trump’s model reflecting on the topic of ​​borders and national identities. The pavilion is symbolically place on the edge of the park, redefining its accesses and denying its main entry on north-south axis. The wall’s upper part holds a long frieze, evocative of urban billboards and Diego Rivera’s murales, with scenes from the history of Alameda Central and Mexican People.
