Re-evolution of the corporate landscape

Usually when landscape architecture deals with industrial sites, neglected landscapes, regeneration or brownfields spring to mind. This dissertation, instead, concerns a relatively new typology of industrial landscape: the corporate landscape. This is the landscape of brands and businesses that turn their interest to the surrounding social and green context. Symptomatic, in the last decades, is the shift from public to private funds for landscape projects as businesses redefine Social Corporate Responsibility to include environmental strategies. This study investigates opportunities to reveal the brand value through a landscape designed to reconnect with the local context and community.
