Fondazione Agnelli and Compagnia San Paolo opened an international competition for the refurbishment and riorganisation of the secondary school "Enrico Fermi" in Turin. The building, designed in the early 60s, is located in a complex area of the city where different communities have been cohexisting since the beginning of the XXth century. Our project aims to redesign and improve the learning spaces creating a formal and functional continuity with the surrounding area. The idea is to open the school onto the city, grafting it onto the urban pattern and making it a dynamic centre for the local community throughout the day.
