PAESAGGI (S)CONFINATI
TURIN - first prize
The main idea was to investigate the ability to look beyond a BOUNDARY. The chance, after building a wall, to look through it. Infact, a boundary separates an internal space from an external one, but it would be useless if the observer could not have the perception of both spaces. For this reason, the installation is characterized by a window capable of projecting the observer towards boundless landscapes. Looking through a hole on the CUBE, a space confined by six faces, it’s possible to observe an opening, a border of the border line itself, through which to watch an endless space. A delimited boundary, then, that becomes an instrument of observation of a boundless landscape. Selected Project for “IntheCube” Exhibition, at Ex Borsa Valori, for the Festival “Architettura in Città” of Turin.
