O aims to create a strong landmark in the area of Strandveikaia, a sign to be easily recognized as the natural center of the developing district of Nyhavna. The natural response to this need was the circle, an object connecting and enclosing space at the same time. Residential buildings also take part in the enforcement of this urban gesture overtaking the logic of block and streets. The whole circle is conceived to be an empty and responsive infrastructure to be filled and changed according to the changing conditions of the context.
