The project (with C.Caponero, R.Rapisardi) aims to contribute to the young patients wellbeing reducing the psychological effects of their diseases and their sense of isolation. The idea is to eliminate as far as possible the physical boundaries existing between two different environments – that represent two different states of life: sickness and health – by the decision of “projecting out” the department and “projecting in” the external space of the hall, dissolving barriers and encouraging visual permeability.
