Ledro
Located in the woods of Val di Ledro, a former barn of the nineteenth century is recovered and used as a dwelling. The project combines tradition and modernity, by using raw materials such as iron and authentic wood. The original building qualities are maintained to create spaces basic and functional. The project is on 3 levels: The ground floor has a tavern area / kitchen / fireplace and is the heart of the building where talking and eating with friends. The first floor contains the sleeping area and a sitting / reading area and is characterized by a series of more intimate spaces and higher ones. A metal staircase provides access to the highest level that has another sleeping area and a landscape oservatory built on the former observatory for hunting.img
