Object of the competition is the realization of a little pedestrian bridge across the Naviglio La Martesana, in Milan. “Diving in the air” is a mobile, large and concrete beam that use the canal’s water for moving. Two floating volumes under the bridge permit the vertical movement that facilitate the boat underpass. Against the contemporary iconism this bridge is a simple and smooth intervention, thinking at the Milan modern architecture.
