How to build a new city district?
 We believe in an urbanism based on strategy and not on design. Building a new city is a matter of combining geographic, economic, political,
social and cultural issues imprinting all these forces on the cityscape. Porocity project is proposed as an alternative to the Abu Dhabi 2030 plan for expansion into the desert of capital of the UAE. In order to achieve a new urban setting, the logics of the Abu Dhabi 2030 plan have been subverted: if the Abu Dhabi 2030 plan is marked by strategic errors such as disconnection, lack of public space and functional zoning, Porocity is built through public space, mobility and mix of functions, all while maintaining indices of density required for the new part of town.
