In Milan there are many LOST. LOST is the abandoned buildings, in state of decay. LOST is the pieces of Milan’s architecture, by now forgotten. LOST is the dismissed towers. LOST is the hidden corners of the city, ignored by the most. LOST are all those places telling about the memory of Milan, but actually ignored by the ones living in the city. LOST is a project of urban exploration based on crowdsourcing, aimed at getting possession of the lost and abandoned spaces of the city, by creating a network of active participation to preserve the collective memory and to activate specific project interventions. The project starts with mapping the LOST places in the city and collecting them on a web platform, where everybody is invited to post any story, memory or secret about that space and to add new LOST.
