The garden is by definition a finite element. In myths, cultures and history (but even in domestic reality) the garden is accomplished in an enclosed space, bounded by a virtual or physical boundary: a wall, a fence, green hedges, a small clearing at the edge of the forest. The perimeter is therefore, the very first moment in which a garden take shape. We propose an installation in which the experience of the garden allows the visitor to go beyond idea the garden edge. Approaching from the outside, a visitor expects the monolithic perimeter to guard an intimate garden. Once entered he finds himself in a Never Ending Garden. A spiral path between autochthonous species, allows the visitor to experience normal or distorted reflections, as closer or farer to the perimeter. The perimeter acquires a double meaning: on the outside it emphasizes the concept of boundary, on the inside the boundary is dematerialized.
