O Labirinto da Saudade (prototype of the Portuguese House)| Moita| 2005| Unbuilt| By analysing the behaviour and the relationship between a traditional Portuguese Family, this project search for a physical way of expressing those feelings by designating and conceptualizing the several parts of a house| Two types of spaces were identified: The exhibitionist space, which is totally open to the exterior and the hidden space, where daily routine actually happens, guarded from the “intrusive” outside| The house is structured by a traditional portuguese embroidery, normally used in scarves. Like that, a role of open and close spaces is set, according to the organisation of the interior system|
