Student’s Residences| Ponta Delgada, Azores| 1st prize on public competition| 1998-2007| The Key element is the coexistence between four parallel buildings, and a group of landscape stripes that crosses the buildings| The result of each one of the blocks is made by the module composition ( four double) ,to which small variations are introduced. Even with a variety of module conjugations, resulting on different morphologies between the blocks, a similar image of the all complex is remained| Formal and Functional distinct exterior areas are created by the inner hierarchy set by the stripes distribution. Public and private zones of the complex are, this way, remarkably separate| A fifth building links the two systems, becoming the centre of the intervention|
