The project of the New York City Theatre stems from the intent to promote the independent play and recover the pioneer spirit that distinguished Broadway at the beginning, through the creation of a campus theater. The proposal is for a mixed-use building that joins the main function of theater to the offices and residences. The choice is mainly based on the observation of the high price of land in Manhattan in order to maximize the potential value of the plot, thicken a greater number of functions within a single building. In order to connect the urban space with the building, it is created a large green platform, raised from street level to the height of the old tracks, forming a green terminal, expansion of the hanging park.
