| This staging represents a firm critic of those spaces of the common living people perceive as a sort of a safe “niche” where one can find refuge, and that on the contrary are disturbed by the constant interferences of the external world.
This idea comes into being through the creation of a space where inclined planes puzzle the visitors of the staging, and images of a typical dwelling place (with ordinary kitchen and bedroom) which usaully convey a sense of security, are distorted, so they help to raise unexpectedly peopleÂ’s sense of oppression.
This sensation drives us to look for a place inside our home where we can find the intimacy we need (provocatively represented by the bathroom), which we clearly see but we cannot reach because of the presence of a scoffing glass partition.
