Sharing Personal Belongings Club
COMMUNITY CLUB FOR SHARING PERSONAL BELONGINGS 1

“Ms. Amy only likes black T-shirts, and she hates any kind of decoration.
Uncle Mike is a big fan of I-pod and has collected a lot.
My neighbor Jack and I share the same love for the MUJI products.”

Our personal belongings reflect and shape our personality. They form our immediate and intimate environment rather than the built forms. These environments change dynamically following the changes of residents and their minds. Despite the stable and globalized built forms, the personal belongings of local residents could also give an over view of the community character, which is even more accurate and dynamic since every resident decides it individually and instantly.

Showing their personal belongings is an effective way to depict the community character.
Sharing each other’s personal belongings allows a deep understanding of the community identity.
